TGC 119 - Entry for Technical Officers in Indian Army

Indian army has published the notification of TGC 119 Technical Graduate Course.

TGC 119 is  a technical course for Engineering graduates which they can apply during final year and after passing out from college. TGC 119 is going to commence in July 2014 at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

Any engineering student who satisfies the eligibility criteria as per the official notification of TGC 119, can apply for it online. Later, Indian army will shortlist the candidates as per their percentage from 1st to 6th semester. The minimum cut off went up to 65% till 6th semester in engineering in TGC 118.



TGC 119 Educational Qualification
  • For Engineers : BE/ BTech in the discipline mentioned below, Candidates studying in the Final Year of Engineering Degree and who are qualified graduates of the Degree Course in Engineering Engineering will be eligible to apply.

TGC 119 Age Limit

  • For Engineering Graduates: 20 to 27 yrs
  • For AEC: 23 to 27 yrs
  • For Military Farms: 20 to 27 yrs

TGC 119 Important Dates

  • Starting Date for Online Registration: 15 November 2013.
  • Last Date for Online Registration: 14 December 2013.

How to Apply for TGC 119

  1. Candidates need to apply through online application form only.
  2. Visit Indian Army Official Website to apply for TGC 119.
  3. There is no need to send the educational documents and application to Indian army.
  4. All other instructions are given in the online portal.

Summer Internship 2012: NIT Rourkela


NIT, Rourkela has launched a Summer Internship Programme with an objective to encourage ambitious bright B.Tech. as well as B.Sc. and M.Sc. students of different Institutes in India other than NIT, Rourkela to pursue an innovative research and development project under the guidance of NIT faculties. The summer fellow will register at NIT, Rourkela for whom there will be no institute registration fees. The Institute is pleased to provide 50 nos. of Summer Fellowships as follows.
The fellowship will cover the following:
(a)
A gross fellowship of Rs.3500/-, for a period of two months to meet travel and other expenses. The fellowship will be provided to those, who stay in NITR hostels.
(b)Free Accommodation in the NIT Halls of Residences.
(c)Laboratory and Computing Facilities.

Eligiblity :
Any B.Tech., B.Sc or M.Sc. student with a good academic record who has completed 2 or 3 years of study toward engineering or science degree may apply for this fellowship.


How to Apply : 
Interested students need to complete the online application form before 5th  March 2012. After filling online application, the student needs to get a hard copy of the application from and enclose the documents (Photocopies of all grade cards/mark sheets, studentship certificate) and submit by speed post before 23 March 2012
